Your basic rights

As a citizen, you have the right to:
Identity
Social support
Fair treatment
These rights belong to you, and no one can take them away.

What to do if something goes wrong

If you're not treated fairly, you can take action:
Ask for help at the office
Speak to a supervisor
Follow the official complaint channels
Don't stay silent if you are treated unfairly. Raising it is your right.

Avoid being taken advantage of

Be careful of anyone who:
Asks for money to "help" with your application
Promises faster results for a fee
Government services are usually free. If someone asks you to pay, treat it as a warning sign.
